Animovanou hudební skupinu Gorillaz stvořili zpěvák Damon Albarn a komiksovy ilustrátor Jamie Hewlett v roce 1998. Jejími členy je čtveřice opičáků 2D (zpěv a klávesy), Murdoc (baskytara), Noodle (kytara, klávesy) a Russel (bící a perkuse). Každý z nich má svou virtuální historii. Album Humanz je k dispozici v několika verzích – standardní CD a LP obsahuje 20 skladeb, rozšířená 2CD Deluxe varianta nabídne ještě o šest nahrávek víc.
